EPM Lead Planning Consultant

 The Certified EPM Lead Planning Consultant assists clients in understanding and challenging their current performance management strategies.  They will  develop strategies to build digital confidence by embracing opportunities to stay competitive through building trust and resilience into their technology systems. A position in our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice will allow you to develop and apply strategies that help clients leverage enterprise technologies so they can get a higher return on their investment, mitigate risks, streamline processes and find operational inefficiencies.

The position:

As a Certified EPM Lead Planning Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.  The Lead Planning Consultant works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives to support decision-making for better business outcomes.

This role will also provide technical subject matter expertise for RM Dayton Analytics sales and account teams during the scoping of intelligent process automation opportunities.

This is a remote position with ability to travel to client sites as needed open to any qualified applicant in the United States.  US work authorization that requires transfer of sponsorship or support for employment is not available for this position.

What will I be doing?

The Certified Lead Planning Consultant will manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies.

Key responsibilities to include:  

  • Manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures.
  • Formulate planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting strategies.
  • Manage full life cycle implementations.
  • Develop statements of work and/or client proposals.
  • Identify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability of information architecture.
  • Experience with program leadership, governance and change enablement.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships.
  • Lead workshops for client education.
  • Manage resources and budget on client projects.
  • Assist and drive the team by providing oversight.

 

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • 6+ yrs relevant experience implementing either Oracle Hyperion PBCS/ePBCS or Planning, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, OneStream or Pigment.
  • 2+ years’ experience leading and managing project teams
  • Willingness for weekly client-based travel when required
  • 5+ Years of EPM experience.
  • Solid VB and/or SQL skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Ability to collaborate with clients
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience

  • An advanced degree in the area of specialization
  • Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes
  • Proven skills as a team member, team lead or project manager on at least one full life cycle implementation
  • A proven resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
  • Willingness to mentor junior staff
  • Committed to gaining exposure to multiple industries
  • Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team.
